1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Candour, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Candour is

Candour is a practice tool. You have a simulated conversation with an AI-played counterpart, and afterwards receive an AI-generated debrief on how the conversation went.

The AI counterpart and the debrief are both automatically generated. Nothing in Candour is medical, clinical, legal, or HR advice, and a debrief is not a certified or official assessment of your professional competence. It is intended as practice feedback only.

3. Who can use this

You must be at least 18 years old to use Candour. Some scenarios simulate emotionally difficult subject matter (for example, serious illness or end-of-life conversations); Candour Zone is a training simulation, not a source of medical or crisis support.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information when you sign up.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Try to bypass usage limits or access scenarios you haven't been granted access to.
• Use automated tools to interact with the service outside normal use.
• Use the service to harass, harm, or attempt to identify real individuals.
• Attempt to extract, resell, or misuse other users' data.

6. Service availability

We do our best to keep Candour available and working correctly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and the service may change or be unavailable at times.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Candour is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and our liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated content from the service.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service from time to time, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
